Sylvain Paineau holds an optronic engineering degree from Paris XI University.
Sylvain Paineau held several innovation management positions in the industry during these last 25 years. Starting his career in Thomson-CSF group he contributes to the creation and development of two start-ups before joining Schneider Electric in 2004.

Sylvain Paineau is in charge in Schneider Electric of managing Open Innovation & Business Incubation for EMEA in Innovation@TheEdge organisation. (Incubation, Excubation, Start-up relationships, R&D partnerships, strategic innovation management domain).
He is member of different incubator, accelerator investment committee (SATT Linksium (the Grenoble Alps Incubation organisation), InnoEnergy (European organisation) …
He is also Shareholder & member of the supervisory board of the European EIT InnoEnergy and Administrator of Tenerrdis, competitiveness cluster.
